Silly Gooze Citizenship is our low-cost way to make Risograph printing more supported, affordable, and less mysterious. Citizenship is for people who want more than just sending files off and hoping for the best.

You are not just dropped in front of a machine and left to fend for yourself.
What does it cost?
£35 for the year.
That is it.
After that, you pay for your prints as normal, and get 10% off.
This is not a big paywall, a confusing subscription, or one of those setups where you pay a fee and then get charged extra every time you need help.
It is a simple way to get proper support, studio access, and a more human way of making work with us.
Who is it for?
Curious people, artists, designers and makers, who want a more hands-on and supported way to print with us.
If you want help developing work for Riso, testing ideas, learning as you go, or printing alongside us in the studio, this is for you.
Do I need to know what I’m doing?
No.
You do not need to be fluent in print jargon or already know how to prepare everything perfectly. It is not a test, you can arrive as you are with your artwork at the stage it is.
What is the vibe?
When you arrive, we’ll start by looking at what you want to make and where you’re at with it.
Some sessions are quick and straightforward. Some are more experimental. That is completely normal.
Calm, practical, collaborative.
We want the studio to feel like a place where you can ask questions, try things out, and make decisions without feeling daft.
We’re not here to optimise you.
We’re not here to scale you.
We’re not here to sell you a lifestyle.
We’re here because print belongs to everyone.

A warm welcome
You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you’re doing.
A quick chat first
We’ll usually talk through your idea, files, colours, paper and what’s realistic for the session.
Plain-English support
If you’re new to Riso, we’ll explain things as we go. No design degree required.
A real working studio
Expect machine noise, paper, ink, tea and a bit of print goblin energy.
Room to ask questions
You can take breaks, go at your own pace, and ask as many questions as you need.
No pressure to be perfect
Some people arrive super prepared. Some arrive with mild panic. Both are normal.
Studio access, support when you need it, and discounted printing, a simple way to keep making regularly.

We’ll go through your idea, your artwork, and how we can support your print practice.
If you go on to become a citizen, we’ll deduct the £20 from your yearly £35 fee.
